Past Survey Results

The American Municipal Officials Survey (AMOS) has been conducted in 2012, 2014, 2016, and 2017. Each iteration of the survey includes different questions though the 2017 version was shorter than past iterations and focused on basic demographic data about municipal officials.

Research Articles Using AMOS Data

Data from AMOS has been used in several research projects. Below are projects that have gone through the rigorous peer-review process and have been published, including at some of the most prestigious journals in political science. The data for these studies come from the 2012 AMOS.
